Appointment Types

 

 

Precondition: Your role has permissions to access admin functions in Health Desk.

 

Adding an Appointment Type

 

1. In the Configurations menu panel, click Appointment Types.

 

 

2. Click New and Appointment Type.




 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Fill in the following fields: Name, Appointment Type Short Name, Appointment Type Description (optional), Duration in minutes, and PM Appointment Type (required; this is the appointment type ID from your EMR/PM system).

 

 

4. Review and, when ready, click Save.

 

 

Deleting an Appointment Type

 

1. Select the appointment type you want to delete from the list.


2. Click the trash icon.

 

 

Editing an Appointment Type

 

1. Select the appointment type you want to edit from the list.


2. Make the necessary changes.


3. Review and, when ready, click Save.
