Veradigm PM Keona User Account
Veradigm integration requires a PM user account to function. This user's password will periodically expire. To avoid service interruptions, you will need to reset this password in Veradigm and update Keona with the new password.
Note that this isn't the user account tied to individual Keona users, this is a specific single account usually created by Veradigm for the Keona application to authenticate itself against the Veradigm APIs.
Updating Veradigm Credentials Used By Keona
To update credentials and avoid service interruptions, follow the following steps:
- Identifiy an appropriate date and time to implement the reset. Note that this will result in service downtime until the new password is updated in CareDesk. The password change in CareDesk may take up to 10 minutes to take effect.
- Reset the Keona user's password in Veradigm PM
- Login to your CareDesk application as an admin and navigate to the "Settings" admin section
- Click Update Password on the PM Integration for which you would like to set the new password.
- You'll be presented with the following modal to update your password. Note that you will need to also set the new expiration date, which will allow the CareDesk application to pre-emptively prompt users to for a new password change as that expiration date approaches:
Password Expiration Alerts
21 days prior to password expiration, the following alert will display for all logged-in users, prompting for a password change:
